No need to worry! If you've written some custom target keywords in the app while Target Keywords AutoPilot is switched OFF, switching it ON later won't erase any of your custom target keywords. AutoPilot will simply generate a default target keyword for products that don't have one, but your custom keywords will stay the same. 👍 (AutoPilot uses the product or page title as the default target keyword.)
