Many Scan Issues all at once?

Question: I see many issues in an audit, under Scan Issues. What's going on?

Answer: Many Scan Issues all at once means one of two things:

• Your theme recently got an update, and our app's code needs to be refreshed in the app's Settings:

• Or you have a storefront password enabled for your site. Removing your site's password should fix the issues, except for those that are actual issues that need to be improved in the audit.

Here's why SEO Optimizer cannot apply any SEO improvements while your site has a storefront password: in the Scan Issues section of an audit, the app scans the page on your live site. Since none of your pages are live (because a password is required to access them), there is nothing to scan, which causes errors as if the information were missing.
