How to sync your images to update their alt text

The app automatically updates your image alt tags once per week, but if you would like to update them sooner, follow these steps:

1. Go to the Optimize Images section of the app.
2. Open up the last step, 3. Sync Images.
3. Press Sync Images.

Your image sync will not complete right away: it can take from a few hours to two days for your image sync to complete, depending on the number of products in your store and the queue of other users currently syncing their images.

If you see an error message ("Sync in process / in queue") after pressing Sync Images, that means your images are already syncing.
